News - Our Deepest Gratitude

Dear Maam, Sir,

Wishing you & your family a very happy & healthy 2021 !

How do you even start a year end letter for such an year ?

I’ve been pondering over last few days and I still have no idea. Words like “unprecedented” and “restrictions” and “hardships” have been overused this year and I really don’t want to talk any further about the horrors our beautiful industry has been subjected to (and continues to endure) the world over.

It has however never been truer than this year, that real friendship is built in times of crisis, and true partnership is forged when the going gets tough. So, let me rather start by giving thanks.

The deepest gratitude must go to all our valued patrons & business associates in India & around the World for having stood by us & supported us in these challenging times.

What I have been truly grateful for this year is the ever-deepening friendship between us and our customers. We were supported through the scary times, have been patient and understanding with us when times were tough, and have laughed and problem-solved together all the way through. Thank you to you all for your patronage to our business, and I wish you all a great start to the new year.

At Destination Holidays, we remain committed to our customers and supportive of the current reality. Now more than ever it is imperative that we rebuild trust in the marketplace, and to that end we are committed to a policy of zero penalties for cancellations relating to customers prevented from traveling for a COVID related reason. We believe the risk of scaring off travellers with prohibitively strict cancellation and deposit terms far outweighs the low risk of last-minute cancellations. The lion share of our business associates are in full support of this initiative, and consequently we will be actively promoting these to ensure our customers and the travellers have the utmost peace of mind.

Lastly and eminently, it is important to say that Destination is lucky enough to have you as part of our patrons who have supported us through a recovery period. Like everyone else we are a greatly changed business, but remain dedicated to a sustainable return to full force as soon as circumstances permit. We will make it through this.

Thank you once again to you all – it has been an honour and a privilege to be of service through this year.

All my best,

Prayag
